I grew up in Hubli, a small town in Karnataka, where life was simple but tough. We didn’t have much growing up, but I was determined to study and make a better life. Education was very important to me. At JTS (Junior Technical School), Ajay and Ajit Prabhu made a big impact on my life. They became my role model. Their dedication to supporting students like me inspired me to dream bigger.
Small things made a big difference in my life. Cash prizes for good grades pushed me to do my best. Cricket kits sponsored by Quest Global made our time in school special. For a middle-class family like mine, these gestures were huge. My brother and I also got scholarships that helped pay for our education. This support gave us the chance to dream big during hard times.
A life-changing opportunity
My father worked as a security guard, and my mother was a nurse at a private hospital. They worked very hard to support us, but I was afraid I couldn’t afford college. That’s when Quest Global’s CSR initiatives helped me.
The scholarship didn’t just pay my fees; it gave me confidence. It let me focus on my studies without worrying about money. I followed my dream and studied mechanical engineering; a dream I thought might never be possible.
My life changed when I got a job at Quest Global. After years of hard work, I finally saw my dreams come true. That opportunity was the turning point for me and my family.
Gratitude and giving back
Becoming an engineer at Quest Global wasn’t just a job for me—it was my chance to give back to the organization that helped me. I grew in my career and saw how Quest Global continued to support many students like me.
One of the proudest moments for my brother and me was buying a house for our parents— a way to thank them for all they did to support us. Now, I want to pay it forward. I take every chance to mentor young students who face similar challenges, sharing my story to inspire them to keep striving.
I know how one small act of support can change someone’s life. I want to remind everyone that no dream is too big if you work hard and get the right support.
The Power of Purpose
I learned that engineering is not just about solving problems. It’s about making a difference in people’s lives. From my small school in Hubli to working on engineering projects, my journey shows the power of hard work and support from the community.
My story is one of many. Together, we are not just solving problems. We are changing lives. I hope my story inspires others to dream big, work hard, and make a difference.
