I grew up in Kottayam district, Kerala — a quiet village surrounded by nature. My early years and schooling were simple, and even in college at the ‘College of Engineering, Poonjar’, I often wished I had chosen a campus in town. Over time, though, I realized that being in that environment gave me the space to grow in ways I hadn’t expected.

During my third year, I came across the Quest Global Scholarship managed by IEEE. I applied without much expectation. I listed my academics, volunteering, and every small effort I had made, and sent in my application.

When I was selected, it was one of the proudest moments of my life. Beyond easing the financial burden on my parents, it gave me the belief that my efforts mattered. For the first time, I felt truly independent.

The scholarship also came with a placement opportunity. Step by step — from assessments and interviews to onboarding training — I progressed until the day I received my offer letter. It felt like a dream realized.

Beginning my career at Quest Global was very different from what I had imagined. I had expected corporate life to be daunting for a fresher, but instead I found support, mentorship, and even friendships that reminded me of the camaraderie I enjoyed in college. Volunteering at Quest Global Fest was another highlight — watching leaders perform on stage with humility reinforced my belief that true leadership means staying grounded.

What excites me most today are the opportunities to keep learning. From advanced technical programs to behavioral skills, the courses I once thought were out of reach are now accessible. Knowing that I can explore different industries and domains within Quest Global makes me even more optimistic about the future.

Looking back, the scholarship and my journey here have given me more than financial support — they gave me confidence, independence, and a place to build the life I once only hoped for. My dream now is simple: just as this opportunity opened doors for me, I want to open doors for someone else.

That’s my reason to believe.
