Bangalore, December 2, 2015: Quest Global has partnered with one of its reputed customers to conduct school improvement activities at A Narayanapura Government Model Primary School in Bangalore. This is for the third subsequent year the two companies have come together to show their support in engineering positive change through education.
Through this effort, employees from both companies volunteered and participated in numerous initiatives over the last one week. The activities included building a water tank, creating a shelter to keep students away from sun and dust and putting up colourful paintings on the walls to spread happiness. Also, to give equal importance to extra-curricular activities, stay active and energetic, volunteers from both companies fixed a basketball pole and net for students. Along with this, they also supplied stationery, sports equipment, and photo frames with photographs of each class.
Speaking on the occasion Niketh Sundar, Senior Vice President, Quest Global said, “We are an eighteen year old company that wants to build the future for our people and the communities around us. We believe that the roots for better living and for shaping a better community comes from education. Over a period of time, we have extended our support by adopting schools through such sustained initiatives. This is the third time we have partnered and we hope to create a positive and successful impact.”
The school currently has around 300 students with an opportunity to enrol more children from neighbouring areas.
The programme was concluded with a ceremony to recognize the children of the school and to encourage them further in education.
Notable is the fact that Quest Global has adopted the school to contribute in multiple ways on a long term basis.
