We are a global engineering services provider headquartered in Singapore and driven by 20,000+ extraordinary employees based in 18 countries, working out of 78 delivery centers and offices, and making the impossible possible every single day.
Aravind Melligeri is a Board Member of Quest Global. He is responsible for balancing growth and stability through acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic alliances. He focuses on long-term and strategic needs for building Quest Global into an organization that provides efficient global delivery capabilities.
Aravind’s ability to sense new opportunities and explore out-of-the-box ideas has given the company a competitive edge – Quest Global’s foray into Design & Build as an extension of Engineering Services is an example of this. Aravind went on to set up India’s first notified precision engineering SEZ in Belagavi (Karnataka, INDIA), initially as Quest Global Manufacturing, and recast in 2014 as Aequs, where he is the Chairman & CEO.
This unique Aerospace supply chain ecosystem was awarded the prestigious “Global Airbus Innovation Award” in 2016 and recognized as the first of its kind in the world. Aequs quickly expanded its global footprint with operations in India, North America, and Europe, and today, the company is a preferred partner for global OEMs.
Aravind’s passion for building economic engines for India’s future led to Aequs’ diversification into the consumer vertical in 2016. Among the biggest toy exporters in the country today, Aravind has also set up India’s first toy manufacturing cluster, the Koppal Toy Cluster (KTC), and more recently, India’s first sector-specific Consumer Durable Goods Cluster in Hubballi.
Aravind holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He has been the recipient of the ‘Young Achiever Award’ by the Indo-American Community and the ‘Super Entrepreneur 2019′ award by The Machinist (India) magazine.
