Emiko Higashi

Emiko Higashi is the founder and Managing Director of Tomon Capital Partners, where she focuses on strategic advisory and corporate governance. As a global business leader with deep expertise in technology, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance, she has advised global technology companies on the topics of strategic growth, transformation and complex cross-border transactions, helping them navigate some of the world’s most demanding markets.

Her experience spans technology, semiconductor, healthcare and financial services sectors across Japan and the United States. Her combination of industry depth and geographic span gives her a unique perspective on how companies grow, adapt and compete on a global stage. Earlier in her career, she held senior investment banking leadership roles at Merrill Lynch and Wasserstein Perella.

Emiko brings valuable boardroom insight from her service on the boards of leading technology companies, including Rapidus, Takeda Pharmaceutical, KLA and Rambus.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from International Christian University, Japan.
