Rostow Ravanan

Rostow is passionate about using technology to solve business and social problems and identifying high performers and enabling them to achieve more.

Currently, Chairman and CEO at Alfahive, a cyber-security and AI consulting company, Rostow is also a member of the Investment Committee at a deep tech focused venture capital fund.

Previously, co-founder, CEO & Managing Director Mindtree Ltd., Rostow played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the organization. In this role, Rostow was responsible for providing strategic direction and achieving industry-leading growth, superior financial performance along with high customer and people satisfaction as well as being a socially responsible corporation. Earlier, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for more than 10 years, where he was responsible for finance and allied functions. In February 2007, he led Mindtree’s IPO which was amongst the most successful IPOs of the year. He also defined and implemented processes for good governance that led Mindtree to be ranked amongst the Top 25 best governed companies in India.

Rostow also plays an active role in various industry forums and Government taskforces.

Rostow is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and has completed online courses on AI offered by MIT and Coursera.
