Eliminating
Non-Conformance in
Aerospace & Defense
Precision-driven solutions for enhanced quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Quest Global Nonconformance Management
In the aerospace and defense industry, precision and reliability are paramount. Non-conformances—deviations from established standards or requirements—pose significant challenges to manufacturers, potentially impacting safety, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance. As the industry faces increasing complexity in manufacturing processes and supply chain disruptions, effective non-conformance management has become critical.
Quest Global has established itself as a strategic partner in solving and reducing non-conformances for global aircraft, aero systems and aero engine manufacturers. With over 10 million hours of experience in non-conformance (NC) management and reduction, we offer proven solutions that drive significant improvements in production efficiency, cost savings, and quality assurance. Our integrated teams of design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality professionals provide expertise across the NC cycle, addressing bottlenecks both upstream and downstream to enhance efficiency across the entire flowline.
Challenges we solve
Quest Global's approach addresses key challenges in non-conformance management. We tackle issues such as multiple handoffs in the NC process, limited engineers’ bandwidth, and long lead engineering activities. Our solutions streamline manual interventions that slow down operations and simplify cumbersome history searches that impede quick resolution.
We break down siloed systems that hinder communication and reduce backlogs that affect productivity. Our approach improves Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, enhances visibility across the NC lifecycle, and structures data input to reduce inconsistencies.
Through process streamlining, key function automation, and end-to-end ownership integration, we overcome these obstacles, resulting in improved quality, reduced turnaround time (TAT), and optimized costs.
Focus areas
Our approach encompasses the entire NC lifecycle, from standardization and control input to driving zero defects. We implement automated disposition with human-in-the-loop governance, enhanced disposition techniques, and proactive analytics. Our tech-enabled engineering reviews leverage innovative technologies such as Generative AI, AI/ML, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and knowledge-based engineering tools to enhance disposition and drive continuous improvement.
We focus on comprehensive manufacturing improvements and tech pack revisions. Our team conducts thorough Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and implements targeted engineering improvements. We excel in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation. Our approach includes Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and rigorous process certification to ensure optimal outcomes.
Our operating model offers end-to-end ownership with signatories and secured Centers of Excellence (CoEs). We deploy rapid response teams for backlog reduction and implement extreme automation with human-in-the-loop governance. Our focus on innovation and process improvements drives continuous enhancement of our services. We provide dedicated teams that adjust to fluctuating demands, offering cost improvements through globalization while maintaining high-quality standards across all product phases.
