Most critically, these platforms often lack specialized capabilities, forcing organizations to choose between security and functionality.

The data reveals a troubling pattern. Governance activities consume 10-15% of AI implementation budgets while extending project timelines by 2-8 weeks⁵. For organizations where 68% already struggle to balance governance with innovation needs⁵, these traditional approaches create a lose-lose scenario. They neither achieve security nor enable productivity.
